When did you start wakeboarding? End  of Summer ‘2004’

Why did you start wakeboarding? I saw my friends doing it and I like it.

Do you have an idol? Who? Why? Or Who is your favorite rider? Bader Aljihayem is my idol right now, he has demonstrated that determination and hard work can get you to where ever you want to be.

Personal Goals:  I hope to reach to an advanced level to be able to compete and represent Kuwait well.

What is your current wakeboard and why? Current board is the Liquid Force, Groove 134. It’s a really nice board and I have landed a lot of new tricks with this board.

What was your first wakeboard (if different from the one now)? My first board was a Body Glove board and it was great for getting me started.

Favorite time of day (week and year) to board: afternoon

How often do you practice (when, where and how)? I usually try to go out every day if there is time and definitely during the weekends.

Current tricks: wake to wake jumps , 180’s, grabs, heel side back roll, Tantrum

Hardest trick thus far: Landing the 360’ It seems so easy but I just can’t get the rope to stay in my hand. A second hard trick I am currently learning is the Tantrum. I have landed it but need to build up on the consistency of the trick.

What is the best method of wakeboarding for you? I enjoy wakeboarding most when there are people around to watch and my friend there to have fun.

Current titles:  UAE Wakeboard Tour Competitor

Current support team:  Kuwait Wakeboard Team members, friends and my wife

Other interested activities:  Fishing, boating and other water sports
